Official payments do not accept Bitcoin: The Canadian Government, Service Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, BC Hydro and RCMP do not accept payment in Bitcoin. Neither do Amazon nor eBay. Irreversible payments & scams: Bitcoin payments are final and cannot be reversed or refunded once sent. Do not purchase Bitcoin for job offers, people you do not know, or any transaction that seems suspicious. These are often elaborate scams. Fees: Every transaction includes a transaction fee and a mining fee. These are charged per transaction and are separate from the amount you are sending.
