Payment & Fraud Notices — Read Carefully
Official payments do not accept Bitcoin: The Canadian Government, Service Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, BC Hydro and RCMP do not accept payment in Bitcoin. Neither do Amazon nor eBay. If you need to pay one of these organisations, make payment at a bank or through their official channels — not at a Bitcoin machine.
Irreversible payments & scams: Bitcoin payments are final and cannot be reversed or refunded once sent. Do not purchase Bitcoin for job offers, people you do not know, or any transaction that seems suspicious. These are often elaborate scams. If you are unsure, stop and call or text Bitcoiniacs immediately for assistance.
Fees: Every transaction includes a transaction fee and a mining fee. These are charged per transaction and are separate from the amount you are sending.
To comply with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and regulations, Bitcoiniacs is required to collect certain information about users.
